Silent and Serene: A Four Day Meditation Retreat

Sowilo’s (long awaited) first silent retreat!

Surrounded by nature, immersed in both its tranquil sounds and comforting silence, supported by like-minded practitioners, together we will encounter our own inner serenity. Away from sensations of distractions, stimulations and mind-wandering, we will practice presence, breath and body awareness. By the practices of Noble Silence, meditation, gentle yoga, reflections, sound healing, and nature immersion, you will have an opportunity to reconnect with your inherent yet latent quality of mindfulness.

  • You will learn foundational skills and techniques of Insight Meditation to aid you on this journey.

  • You will be guided through Yin (gentle) yogic practices to feel into and move energies of the body.

  • You will experience calming and healing vibrations and sounds of crystal and singing bowls and gongs to support the nervous system.

  • You will be exposed to “as far as the eye can see” nature and engage with it through hiking, grounding and earthing, walking meditation, listening, star-gazing along a bonfire, sauna, and cold-plunging.

  • You will be nourished by wholesome, fresh, organic, plant-based, and energy-light meals, that in turn will help understand the workings of your mind and body.

NEV KUNDACINA: Spiritual Learner and Educator: Drawing from her studies, practices, and teachings of Samatha meditation, Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, as well as Buddhism, Nev identifies as a Spiritual Educator, crowned as such by one of her beloved mentors. In her offerings, Nev strives to inspire within practitioners their Divine Wisdom, and thus access their individual yet unifying connection to the Spirit. Nev aspires to awaken people’s innate sacred purpose, so we can all guide with compassion and truth, lead by wisdom, and thus contribute to healing.
